One Plate at a Time. One Human Connection That Matters.
Cathedral Kitchen is a Dallas nonprofit delivering monthly meals to formerly homeless seniors at St. Jude Centers—providing food, dignity, and community.
A Meal. A Moment. A Bit of Dignity.
Donate nowWhat started with a simple question—“They’re housed, but what are they eating?”—became Cathedral Kitchen.
We’re a small team of volunteers serving hot, home-cooked meals to formerly homeless seniors living at St. Jude Centers in Dallas. These are men and women who’ve battled the streets, mental illness, addiction, or just plain bad luck—and now finally have a roof over their heads.
But housing is only half the battle. Food is the other.
What We Do

Why It Matters
“When we’re not there, they’re walking to 7-Eleven for chips.”
Our meals aren’t fancy. They’re meat, potatoes, dessert—and care. For many residents, it’s the only shared meal they’ll have all month.
It fuels more than the body. It fuels belonging.
The Bigger Picture
residents are now housed by St. Jude Centers
kitchens or food service at most locations
to serve—more meals, more impact, more connection
We're not here to reinvent the wheel—just show up with dinner and dignity.
Your gift does more than feed.
It brings dignity, warmth, and connection to formerly homeless seniors. Every dollar helps serve a hot meal—and a human moment.
